Oh thanks for the info, Al.

Now I see from 'googling' that it's more 'feathery' when the flowers are fully open. My first thought was that our hummingbirds would love it! And you confirmed that the nectar loving birds do, indeed.

Do any of your finches go for the nectar? Some of ours visit our hummingbird feeders. Not sure how they get much as they don't have very long bills.

The finches don't eat the nectar, Van, their diet is seeds and insects.
