Wow lovely pics of the hummingbird GM. In the first pic looks like the bird has no wings, but they must be going soooo fast!!! Wish we had them here in Oz :cray:

This cute little guy was hiding under a garden stepping stone (I was looking for slugs for my turtle lol). He was only about 2 inches (5 cm) long, but they can grow up to 9 inches (23 cm) long!

Wow, I have never seen a flying squirrel...they look like mice with flat tails! We have them here, but since they only are out at night I usually don't see or hear them. Lucky you!

Love the green coneflower! Your photography is amazing with a point and shoot. Imagine what you could do with a 35mm...you would be National Geographic quality. Love the way you got the shadows through the butterfly wings...it shows how thin they are! Good job!

Thanks Wordy! My camera does have a lot of bells and whistles and is probably almost as good as a DSLR.

Yes, butterfly wings are so very delicate and often get tattered over time.

ImageLovely garden :gm: hope the hurricane doesnt wipe it out ..... The cardinal flower is beautiful....never heard of that before (but I love anything red and also cardinals lol)
