Hi all
Thanks very much to you at backyardgalahcam who keep this live feed going.
We'd love to use some sounds from the cam(s) for our live radio daybreak broadcast on 3 MAY, which circles the globe on International Dawn Chorus Day, picking up live feeds at dawn.
We've been working with webcam operators to see if the sound from their cams could be improved a little for the broadcast. Sometimes this can be done by turning off background noise filters, or choosing a better audio quality. This can remove some of the flutter sounds in the audio as it is now.
I don't know if that would be of interest but we'd be really interested to discuss it?
We don't under estimate in any way the challenges of keeping these streams open, so please don't get the impression we're being critical - we're just coming to it from a sound / radio angle
Thanks again
Best wishes from London

G'day Grant,
Thanks for the offer, but we are happy with our sound as it is. Ours' are live cams, so what you hear is what you get.
Regards,
Al.

Fair enough, Al - thank you for your reply.
At the moment I don't hear anything, though?
Best wishes

If the sound is off at night, maybe it would be possible to leave it on for just the one night from Sat 2 May to Sunday 3 May?
Thanks
