1/4 c. shortening
2 lbs beef, chuck or round, cut into 1" cubes
8 +/- green onions sliced
1 garlic clove minced
3/4 c. catsup
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 dash cayenne red pepper
1 1/2 cups of water
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup water
3 cups of hot cooked egg noodles

Melt shortening in large skillet. Add beef, onion and garlic; cook and stir until meat is brown. Stir in catsup, worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt, paprika, mustard, cayenne and 1 1/2 cups of water. Cover; simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Blend flour and 1/4 cup water; stir gradually into meat mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Serve over noodles.

Hi PS. I have the beef and noodles on cooking. WISH ME LUCK! I am not a good cook!! I used coconut oil for the shortening. What do you use? I didn't have green onions so just used a onion. Hope that doesn't make it taste different. I will let you know how it turns out.

Good news! For me it turned out good. I put in to much salt for us, but we use very little salt. This is something I would make again. :good: :good:
