Stuffed Green Pepper Stew

2 pounds Ground Beef
1-28 ounce can tomato sauce
1-28 ounce can diced tomatoes (undrainded)
2 cups cooked rice
2 cups chopped green pepper *
2 beef bullion cubes (beef broth)
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

In a large stock pot cook the ground beef over medium high heat until browned, about 10 minutes and drain. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until green peppers are tender. 30 - 45 minutes. Serve Hot.

*I prefer to cook all but the peppers and then put peppers in the last 10 min. I like my peppers quite firm

This sounds great and a bit like the stuffed peppers I make.

I have every one of those ingredients except the 28oz tin of tomato sauce...

thank you Anita, wish you were my neighbour then we cook cook up a storm all day long.

We could feed the homeless for sure...

I will have to try this.

When I make spaghetti sauce I load it down with green peppers.

Hi, that does sound good. would love to be abe to cook again. Just can't do that any more. MY name is Sylvia and I live in Iowa. Use to be from Minnesota. I am new to this game of chatting. Have a good day.
