Hi, I'm Deborah from Philadelphia PA. I am owned by a 5 year old CAG hen named Papagena (after Papageno's wife in Mozart's Magic Flute opera) and my other half, David,

Her two favorite activities are talking--she has acquired a huge vocabulary with virtually no training on our part--and eating anything and everything; her favorites being steak, chicken, lamb chops, grapes, NutriBerries, and Harrison's Hi-Potency. We also do our best to get her interested in vegetables but this has been an excruciatingly dificult task.

I visited Sydney and Melbourne back in 1997 as part of a business trip and had a wonderful time. I wish I had time to get to the Outback but I intend to come back again--hopefully for good.

My father also visited Melbourne for several weeks back in 1948 when it was a four-day journey by varying types of water- and aircraft. He would have stayed, except that he decided to come back home and marry my mother.

Hi Deborah,

Welcome to BYGC! By coincidence, I'm heading down to Philly tomorrow for a few days! I live in CT and am owned by a galah, three cockatiels, and a turtle.

I look forward to meeting you in chat!

Greetings from the midwest Deborah,

Welcome to BYGC...I don't know what a CAG hen is either but if she can talk then I am on board because that fascinates me! (I will Google CAG Hen)

I look forward to getting to know you...I am owned by a furkid named Whisker's (big grey tabby) and have one daughter and hubby. We are fun people here, relaxed and funny too. We are glad that you decided to join.

PS Be sure and put a picture of Pageno in forums under Animal Talk...we love to get to know your owner too!
