the top is the way she'd (my mom) done it and the bottom is the way I did it. She had no idea what they were talking about when they talked about a stitch.

This is something from my mothers stuff after she passed away. She had started it but was using the wrong stitch so I raveled it out and started from scratch . Took me three weeks to just take out all the yarn. Then had to iron it straight because it was very kinky .

I prefer needlepoint to counted cross stitch. No disrespect intended here Cross. Counted cross stitch is so hard to see to me.
